Hello MoMU-ans!

I'm Sherlyn Law, the 3rd Miss President :) I'm a "not-so-busy" commerce student who can be found wondering around uni with a huge country road bag. Love to hang out at MoMU table in Union House. Usually spotted wearing a black thick spectacles.

Well, as the President of 2008/09, I give you my word that our new committee will dedicate all our energy and effort to provide members with not only more benefits, but also extra privileges for being members of MoMU. In other words, we will do our very best to organize bigger and better events as well as to expand our sponsorship list *this means more discounts for members!*. So, I hope that you, our treasured members, will continue to give the new committee your full support. And of course, THANK YOU to those of you who have been supporting us all along.

Also, please do not hesitate to give us your comments, be it positive or negative, as we look forward to hear your feedback and opinions on anything and everything concerning MoMU. Don’t worry, we don’t bite. Your feedback is essential to us at MoMU as we value what our members have to say.

Hopefully 2009 will be an amazing year for MoMU, and I am looking forward to see you all at our upcoming events! That’s all from me!

Peek-a-boo! Wazzup people! This is Mabel, your MoMU Secretary for 2008/2009. By now you would have had me spamming your emails to the brim. And to answer those grumbles, you may be happy to know that my job is to filter spam that come to us, and give you MoMU-ians ‘good’ spam. Confused? Don’t worry. You’re not alone.

On a serious note, my job as secretary revolves around the administration side of MoMU; paperwork, emailing members about our activities, and making sure that MoMU runs on schedule. Roz, my lovely mentor *the previous secretary* has a flair for playing with colours on her emails. Hence, I intend to continue that, in hopes of not boring you people from reading my mail.

Now, about me. Nothing much really. I’m your average Malaysian student who does the norm -2nd year Commerce student. Although, it might spark your interest to note that I hail from Kulim, Kedah. But I live 30 minutes away from Penang so I tend to say I’m a Penangite to avoid those blank, blur looks from people who go “ …err..Kulim where??”
So there’s your Secretary for you. Look out for my emails!

I'm usually seen around uni with headphones on,one eye shut and conspicuously taking long routes to class (the Zoology trail is quite an adventure),sometimes talking to trees and sleeping hobos,once in a while chasing stray cats.I enjoy photography (wildlife & elderly folk,ie old people on trees),uber-violent cinema and indie rock,parks and aquariums,and am a writer of ponderous fiction and erotic haiku.

As treasurer,I intend to keep this boat floating (financially,at least) and bring more diversity and change to our modestly-sized,but big-hearted club.Any form of feedback is appreciated,and we're infinitely open to new ideas and suggestions (no matter how small,bizarre or outrageous) so do drop us an email if you have something to say,or come say hello (pass us some apples!) if you do spot any of us anywhere.

I'm Ai Ming, coming from Seremban, Malaysia makes me a not-another-Malaysian-from-KL. I'm doing commerce/arts so guess I will be sticking around for quite awhile. I'm the Publicity Director for 2008/2009 with the ultimate mission of publicizing events and the club, informing members what we have to offer.

In order to attract you guys to come to our events, I vow to drain my creativity juice (together with the assistant director and officers of course) to come up with outrageous and effective publicity stunts in the near future. If you happened to see a person walking around in full skiing gear (yesh, the transformers ski boots is a must!) in the campus, that must be us, MoMU publicizing our annual exciting skiing trip.

To make this short, don’t hesitate to say “Hi” or you prefer “Apa khabar?” when I’m in your way, chalking on the floor in front of the Asia Center.Good luck with the studies, y’all~

Hi everyone, I'm Salihah, your assistant publicity director. I'm currently studying engineering but it's going to be hard to find me in lectures because I never seem to attend them.. Anyway, my duty is to promote all MoMU events and I encourage you to participate in all of the events, it's all done in good fun!

Don't hesitate to ask me anything about MoMU or our events, and hopefully I'll meet whoever's reading this at any upcoming events or our table at Union House.. I'll be especially nice to you if you like Juventus, the greatest team in the world.
